Shaking Off the Noise: Why We Are Gathering in the Ozark Hills This Autumn 🍂✨
From sacred healing waters to a naked Greek mathematician: Why we are trading daily burnout for pure breathing room and divine rest in the Ozark hills.
Hey sisters,
There is a major shift happening right now. You can feel it in the air as the days get shorter, and you can definitely feel it in your body if you’ve been running on empty. In a world that constantly demands we stay “on,” pushing through daily brain fog and chronic busyness has somehow become our baseline.
But it doesn’t have to be.
This September 18th–20th, we are hitting the ultimate reset button. We are gathering a close-knit circle of 20 women total in the beautiful, restorative Ozark hills for our Annual Fall Women’s Wellness Retreat.
I wanted to share the exact layout of the weekend, the deeply rooted history of the magical town we chose, and some massive announcements about the expert local hosts stepping into our circle.
🏛️ The Ancient Roots of Eureka Springs (And a Naked, Greek Mathematician!?)
We chose this town for a reason.
Long before Eureka Springs became a bustling haven for artists, dreamers, and wellness seekers, it was known simply as a place of absolute peace.
Indigenous tribes honored the Ozark hills as sacred healing ground where fighting was prohibited near waters like Basin Spring. By the late 1800s, global travelers sought out the mineral-rich springs for renewal. When the town was officially named on July 4, 1879, a boy named Buck Saunders proposed “Eureka” after the ancient exclamation meaning “I have found it!”
This famous phrase traces back to Archimedes, an ancient Greek mathematician who suffered severe burnout trying to solve a royal riddle. Overworked and exhausted, his breakthrough arrived while stepping into a hot bath. Overjoyed by the sudden solution, he ran naked through the streets shouting “Eurekaaa!!!”
That spirit of release inspires our weekend retreat: stepping away from exhaustion and more into finding what your soul really needs….
🌿 The Science and Gentle Flow of the Weekend
We are combining science-backed wellness (like visiting the mineral springs for balneotherapy, grounding on giant quartz crystal veins, and unplugging for eco-therapy) with cozy seasonal alignment.
Don’t worry, this isn’t some rigid, over-scheduled bootcamp thing. We intentionally built plenty of breathing room, freedom, and space for deep rest into the weekend flow.
Here is what we have lined up for you:
Friday: Arrival, check-in at 4:00 PM, and a welcome dinner with our private chef.
Saturday: Welcome circle at 10:00 AM, journaling, poolside stretching, meditation, manifesting with Aspen, creating an oasis with Leslie, frequency therapy and sound bowls with Lisa, and meaningful connection circles.
Sunday: Morning gathering starts at 10:00 AM at the Basin Park Fountain, PLUS we have 2 bonus masterclasses on Herbs for Women with Victoria at Lionheart Rising Apothecary and Working with Selenite & Crystal Grids with Heather at Crystal Waters at 4:30pm, allowing freedom and space to explore.
